Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing nanny to provide exceptional care for 3 children of 3 years old and under in a safe and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising, nurturing, and supporting the developmental needs of the children. This role requires a compassionate individual who can create a positive atmosphere while ensuring the well-being of the children in their care.
Duties:
- Provide care, warmth, and security to children
- Plan and prepare meals for children, including nutritious meals/snacks
- Engage with children in activities beneficial to their development, including but not limited to reading, Montessori learning activities, walks to the park or for other outdoor activities (weather permitting)
- Minimizing screen time
- Running errands to purchase/pick up/drop off items such as groceries or packages
- Performing administrative tasks assigned
- Tidying up both play areas before the end of every shift
- Assist parents in organizing home and other projects
- Provide reasonable flexibility in times of emergency or unexpected schedule changes
- Carpooling or transporting the children to activities
- Light clean up, organization, and laundry for the household
- Light housekeeping, keeping the kitchen island clean and the areas where the children are playing
Experience:
- Previous experience in babysitting or nannying is preferred, with a strong background in childcare or caregiving
- Familiarity with daycare or preschool settings is a plus
- Knowledge of infant care practices and toddler care techniques is essential
- Certification in First Aid or CPR is highly desirable to ensure children safety during care
- Recommendations from previous families
Additional requirements:
- Occasional weekends, overnight, date nights, events, travel
- Bilingual desirable but not essential
- Catholic or Christian desirable but not essential
- Ability to receive guidance from in laws
