These friendly, professional parents are urgently seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and dependable nanny for their two school-aged children. Option A (preferred) 7 AM-9 AM & 2 PM-6 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 7 AM-9 AM & 2 PM-10 PM Wednesday 34 hours, including 1 hour of overtime pay, per week Option B 7 AM-5 PM Monday 2 PM-6 PM Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 2 PM-10 PM Wednesday 30 hours, including 1 hour of overtime pay, per week Option C 7 AM-5 PM Monday & Thursday 2 PM-6 PM Tuesday & Friday 2 PM-10 PM Wednesday 36 hours, including 2 hours of overtime pay, per week   Details Big sister, age 7, is in first grade. She loves reading, writing, drawing, and sports. Little brother, age 5, is in preschool. He loves stuffed animals, Legos, drawing, and sports. Both children are outgoing, intelligent, and get along with each other well. A background in early childhood and/or elementary education is preferred but not required. Candidates should have a positive discipline approach and an understanding of gentle and practical conflict resolution for rare instances of sibling rivalry. A passion for working with children is paramount! Nanny should be comfortable with city driving and have an impeccable driving record. A vehicle will be provided for use on the job. Daily school pick-ups and school drop-offs on mornings nanny is working, as well as transportation to and from afterschool activities is required. Child-focused household duties include preparing meals, snacks, and school lunches, organizing toys and clothes, and restocking supplies. There are some light family assistant duties as well, including family laundry, putting away grocery deliveries, occasional errands, and basic ingredient preparation. This family requires that nanny is up to date on vaccinations, including COVID-19. Following CDC recommendations regarding vaccine booster shots is also required.
