Job Title: Educator-Minded Nanny / Toddler Specialist

Location: Los Gatos, CA

Position: Full-Time – M-F 8am – 5pm, occasional longer hours

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, educator-minded nanny for our bright, talkative 27-month-old daughter. We treat this role as early childhood education rather than passive babysitting, seeking someone knowledgeable in toddler milestones who can keep her on track and advancing through structured, engaging play.

Key Philosophy & Approach

  • Teacher Mentality: Proactive, structured, and focused on developmental growth.
  • Montessori-Inspired: Fosters independence, practical life skills, and focused activity.
  • Strictly Screen-Free: Zero screen time; emphasis on outdoor play, books, and hands-on learning.
    Responsibilities
  • Child Care & Development: Provide attentive care, maintain nap/meal schedules, and lead daily activities targeting language, motor, and cognitive milestones.
  • Child-Related Housework: Maintain nursery and play areas, handle child’s laundry, clean child-use dishes, and keep the kitchen tidy after meals.

Safety & Privacy

  • Keep doors locked, ensure no unauthorized visitors, and strictly abstain from alcohol, smoking, or drug use on duty.
  • Strict social media privacy—no photos, videos, or details shared online.
  • Keep location trackers (AirTag) in stroller or car seat during outings.
  • Parent Communication: Daily updates on routines, progress, and highlights.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in early childhood education or professional toddler care (ages 2–3).
  • Solid grasp of developmental milestones and Montessori principles.
  • Bilingual fluency is a plus
  • CPR/First Aid certified, clean driving record, and background check required.

Compensation
Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) + PTO/Paid Holidays/Sick Leave.
