When can children can start helping?
Sometimes it’s hard to think of what chore to give to your 2-year-old vs. your teenager. Different age groups can indeed do some tasks better than others. For example: would you make your 6-year-old do yard work? Of course not! We at Nannies and Mommies made a chores list based on age ranges for you. We’ve curated this list for safety, kids’ entertainment, and to teach responsibility. Younger age ranges have small tasks such as putting their toys away and throwing away the trash. They’ll get more responsible chores, such as laundry, taking out the garbage, and cooking as they get older. It’s important to teach children responsibility and what better way than chores. So instead of thinking about things to do with toddlers, go ahead and use this document to give chores

We want to make sure that everyone has a voice. That’s why we’ve created a self-evaluation form. Nannies can use this form to evaluate their performance based on different categories, such as professionalism, safety, communication, and more. They can grade themselves using a scale between 1-5 (5 being the best). There are four categories, and each has a comment section if needed. There are also three additional questions for a nanny to answer. With this information, we’ll understand their perspective and how their work is going. We feel that it is essential to listen to the nannies as they are misunderstood in certain situations. This form helps us build trust with all our nannies and develop meaning full relationships with them. As we get to know more of our nannies, we can place them in homes where we know they will flourish. We ask that each nanny download this document and perform the self-evaluation.
This PDF will help you organize and record tasks while tracking real-time progress.
You can use this chart to write down up to six tasks. Record your child’s progress by adding fun stickers for every day of the week the task is completed. Hang the chart in their bedroom, the refrigerator, or living room for them to see their own progress. Don’t forget to write down the reward at the bottom. Research shows that awarding children promotes good behavior. It also excites them for future tasks and responsibilities. Each day will be a new day to teach them responsibility with either house duties, homework, etc.
